Quantumly Curious?

Parasympathetic Mind and Open Focused Brain

Four streams of information have come to me, in a very synergistic way, that have informed my investigation into what I am doing with Scenar, and all that it has taught me about what it means to be living. The recoveries I have seen have taken me more and more deeply into what it means to heal. My own work with Scenar and Cosmodic to address the symptoms of PPS, has shown me the value of having access to the devices myself.

The four threads are:

  1. Reading Bernard Haich’s, The God Theory and Lynn McTaggart’s, The Field. The idea that there is a slowly undulating energy field that permeates everything. We, and everything we see, are “coherences” in that field. “Resonances” is another word. We are a part of that field and it is utterly a part of us.
  2. Learning about the autonomic system, and the impact of our “sympathetic system world” on our health and well being, from direct experience in providing pain relief and healing over the last seven years. Seeing how the parasympathetic system of “rest and digest”, the healing aspect of the autonomic system, shifts the body into relaxation, and the mind into what I have called Paraysmpathic Mind.
  3. Reading The Greatest Manifestation Principle in the World, by Carnelian Sage, and its linking of a “state of Love” to awareness and union with a great oceanic cosmic energy source. I was struck by how many aspects of Parasympathetic Mind were encompassed in the author’s description of the mindset of love. Not to mention the idea of the field!
  4. And, then, to talk with Christina today about the book she is currently reading, by a biofeedback specialist of forty years, called The Unfocused Brain; brought in a new element of a way to experience more directly, this field. The book gives exercises one can do to shift one’s focus and attention away from the “things” of life, and more toward the “space between things.” That level of awareness relaxes the body and clears the mind. The book I am currently reading is Lynn McTaggart’s latest called The Bond: Connecting Through the Space Between Us. It encompasses developing an awareness of our deep interconnection with everything through this “quantum vacuum” or “energetic field.”
So, what I am thinking is that this quantum field, that is mathematically proven but not yet verified, can also be called a “state of love” (similar to my idea of Parasympathetic Mind, that is a part of our physiological make up). We are learning ways to more consciously access this state (some I have listed on this blog). Then there is this new way, of conceiving the “space” between things. What if you were more focused on the space than the objects? What if you could stop focusing on reacting to “what is” for just brief periods of time and allow your parasympathetic system to be switched on more. What would life be like with that perspective? Seems to me that to focus on the space between things would to be cultivating direct conscious access to the field. You can bet I’m going to investigate this…

Musings on Quantumland

First, a disclaimer: I’m by no means saying I understand this subject. Much of it, at this point, I simply can’t intellectually grasp. What is below is more a description of my journey into Quantumland, and what I think may be implications related to the way I engage the healing process with others. I’m not answering questions, but rather, continue to ask them.

For the last year or so, I have been doing focused reading on Quantum Physics. I have been completely unguided by any benefit of knowing others who have studied this field (New Year’s Eve I met my first astrophysicist … another new twist in the journey), but have relied on reading the books I picked out from those listed in the one I was engaged with. My intuition and interest has led me toward the information I was looking for without me really being aware of it. The rational part of me lamented that I had no teacher to guide me from the basics to the more complex.

My particular journey is based upon two fundamental ideas that in looking back, I have realized have been the “themes” of my life: that of a love of learning, and of being of service to others. And the interest of my life has been biology and all that encompasses. No surprise that I find myself in the healing field.

Interestingly, I encountered the SCENAR technology about the time I was believing that my body was failing me. In working with it with others over the last seven years, I have seen amazing and inspiring recoveries. There is a physiological explanation for the way the SCENAR acts by signaling the body to release neuropeptides and heal itself. My burning question revolves around what is involved with the “signaling” process. What is happening at the vibratory (electrical) level? Is there a level of healing that happens in the body that we have not yet understood?

This led me to read, The Body Electric: Electromagnetism and the Foundation of Life, by Robert O. Becker MD. At times grueling to get through, it also was incredibly exciting. From there a copy of Equations of Eternity: Speculations on Consciousness, Meaning, and the Mathematical Rules that Orchestrate the Cosmos, by David Darling (there’s not that much math in it) was given to me. And, suddenly I began to grasp a whole new level of discovery to be had. I have read The Field and The Intention Experiment by Lynn McTaggart. In McTaggart’s bibliography I found The Quantum Self by Danah Zohar, which has blown me away. Currently I’m reading How the Hippies Saved Physics: Science, Counterculture, and the Quantum Revival, by David Kaiser, and Leonard Susskind’s The Cosmic Landscape: String Theory and the Illusion of Intelligent Design.

So, as you can see I’m early on in this journey (I’m a slow reader). And I’m letting what I need to learn to bring itself to me. The rational part of me says I’m wandering.

But, who cares?

The Quantum Activist

You all out there have affected my life. I should have realized that would be the case, but you know how it is when you launch into uncharted waters.

I have been fascinated by the “new physics” since I first read The Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra, and have read various books about it as they have come out (not that I understand it!). But there is something about it that really gives me an experience of recognition and fascination, enough anyway for me to stay with it. And I think the information about “quantum medicine”, quantum physics, and bioenergetics resonates with many people.

Your demonstrated interest in the Living Matrix along with the SCENAR’s application in bioenergetics, have propelled me into researching anything quantum.

I came across a new documentary called The Quantum Activist that I thought you might be interested in. Just released in August by BlueDot Productions, it features Dr. Amit Goswami, a quantum physicist who appeared on “What The Bleep Do We Know?”

We have seen quantum physics applied to our understanding of physics and biology. Now, with this documentary, the principles of quantum physics are being applied to consciousness.

Quantum Activism

The following discussion of Quantum Activism is taken from the website mentioned above:

“Quantum physics in the form of its famous observer effect (how an observations transforms quantum possibilities into actual experiences in the observer’s consciousness) is forcing us into a paradigm shift away from the primacy-of-matter to a new paradigm: the Primacy of Consciousness.

So what are the transformative messages of quantum physics? First, consciousness is the ground of all being, and all objects of our experience (sensing, thinking, feeling, and intuition) are quantum possibilities for consciousness to choose from.

Second, if we choose from what is known, that is to say, what is conditioned in us from prior experiences, we are choosing from our ego consciousness. But if we choose what is unknown, what is unmanifest in our prior experiences, we are choosing from what spiritual traditions call God-consciousness (in scientific language we call it quantum consciousness). Choosing from God-consciousness requires quantum leaps (movement from point A to point B without going through the intermediate steps), nonlocality (signalless communication), and tangled hierarchy (causal relationships of circularity).

The third message of quantum physics is the evolution of consciousness, and it is taking us toward a greater and greater capacity for processing the meaning of our lives and the world around us. The immediate future of evolution is promising to take us from our current preoccupation with the rational mind to an intuitive mind that values the archetypes such as Good, Beauty, Truth, Justice, and Love; and gives us the ability to process the meaning of our lives through these archetypes.

So, the goal of the quantum activist is to explore quantum possibilities and manifest these archetypes – Good, Beauty, Truth, Justice, Love -  in his or her life as intimately and expressly as one can, and in doing so to help transform the world. The means a quantum activist uses to achieve this goal are threefold – right thinking, right living, and right livelihood.

Right thinking consists of understanding the paradigm shift from a user’s point of view and helping others in our environment to do so. Right living consists of walking the talk, manifesting our understanding in how we live, and becoming guiding examples for the inspiration of others. As such, it takes a lot of quantum leaps, openness to being in the nonlocality of God-consciousness which informs the doing of the ego’s day to day activities, and the desire to change hierarchial relationships into tangled ones. Right livelihood consists of earning our living in a way that is congruent with our modes of thinking and living, and helping our entire society to achieve this congruence.”

More For the Quantumly Curious

The last sentence above has rolled around in my head endlessly since I posted it. When I do SCENAR treatments and share the device for others to experience, it is earning a living in a way that is congruent with my thinking and living. In our trainings with Dr. Revenko and others, the action of the SCENAR is described as assisting the body to return to its natural state of congruence, which we call health. Watching people develop a new and deeper relationship with their bodies as a result of their interaction with SCENAR, I have had to pause to wonder about what the true nature of consciousness is, quantumly speaking, and how its power can be enlisted for healing. The SCENAR can do much more that “re-educate muscles.” It can re-educate our relationship with the congruence that is native to these miraculous temples we walk around in.

So, I persist in touring the web in search of information to satisfy my quantum curiosity. In these explorations I have encountered Kristin Noelle’s blog which she has been writing since 2004. In this post she explores her own questions about the quantum nature of consciousness.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!

I want to show some appreciation to the writer just for bailing me out of this type of scenario. Just after browsing through the the net and seeing proposals that were not beneficial, I assumed my entire life was well over. Living without the presence of strategies to the issues you’ve fixed through your good short article is a critical case, and the kind that could have adversely affected my entire career if I hadn’t encountered your site. The natural talent and kindness in handling a lot of things was helpful. I’m not sure what I would’ve done if I had not come upon such a thing like this. It’s possible to now look ahead to my future. Thank you very much for your skilled and results-oriented guide. I will not think twice to endorse your web blog to any individual who desires recommendations about this problem.
