SCENAR History Stories
Having hung out in the “SCENAR world” for the last five years, I’ve learned some interesting history of the device, both from those who know, as well as rumor. I have pieced together this perspective.
When we took the Masters Level Training with Dr. Revenko and his wife, Dr. Galina Subbotina (who taught the Cosmotology class), we spent 11 hours a day with them for three days. We had some time, before and after class and on breaks, to hang out with them. Dr. Revenko speaks little English, but his wife is very fluent.
On a break, I asked Dr. Subbotina how Dr. Revenko and Dr. Karasev (the engineer in the SCENAR space program) got together over the development of the SCENAR.
This is the story she told me:
Dr. Karasev originally developed the technology. When he felt like he had the device to where he could present it for funding for further development, he went to several government agencies as was turned down because of lack of research. So, he went to Dr. Revenko, the head of the neurology department at the university where Karasev was a student. Dr. Revenko also turned him down. That evening Dr. Revenko was the last to leave the office and when he stepped into the waiting area, there was Karasev.
Karasev asked him to just look at the device, give it a chance, before he decided he wasn’t interested. So, they talked and Revenko took the device home with him. He was intrigued with it. The next day when Karasev arrived, Revenko had a list of questions about what Karasev might be able to add to the way the machine worked. Karasev had the updated device to him the next day. Impressed, Revenko asked for another amendment which Karasev delivered. This happened a few times. Then they teamed up to do the preliminary research and to later present the device to the government for funding. They were funded and together set up the top secret SCENAR Russian Space Program. They ran it until Peristroika shut the program down.

Dr. Revenko, Dr. Subbotina, Penny Bond, Kathy Austin
So, this is what I’ve been able to piece together from my immersion in this field. What I write below is not verifiable but it makes an interesting story. It has come from reading and talking to other SCENAR practitioners.
After the SCENAR space program shut down, Karasev offered for Revenko to take the prototype and develop it, because he wanted to develop his own line of SCENAR devices. Revenko took the prototype and developed the RITM SCENAR. Karasev set up his own company and has created his own line of SCENARs.
The two men have very different ideas about how the machine should be used most effectively. Karasev believes that the machine should be capable of doing the treatment itself with little input from the operator. Revenko believes that a well trained and experienced pratitioner is central to the effectiveness that can be achieved. Karasev wants every home to have one in their first aid kit. Revenko sees the the machine being most effectively used in a therapeutic office environment with a skilled practitioner.
In reality, the RITM and Let Medical machines are being used by practitioners as well as by people at home. We use one of Karasev’s SCENARs as well as the RITM SCENAR in our treatments. Each machine has its strengths. We like both of them for different reasons and the combination seems to work well in our sessions.
I have read that what motivated Karasev to develop the SCENAR was the loss of two of his relatives to a disease that devastated his home town. He wanted to create something that would protect and promote health. Revenko is a doctor and an educator, both fields endeavoring to improve the well being of others. The SCENAR has had an organic evolution. It was not developed as a “get rich quick” quackery device. Our FDA accepted it into this country as a Class II Medical Device in 2003.
Healing Innovations was created out of our desire to share this amazing technology and help people to achieve pain relief and renew their sense of well being.

Great article, and some news to me too! Thanks
As far as I gathered from Dr Karasev the SCENAR never went into space, contrary to what some people are claiming. Personally I now feel inclined Karasev’s vision to see it in every home and am marketing the SCENAR so that people help themselves and wean off the med addicted drugs and the very sick world the medical establishment has created.
I use a lot of different SCENARs in my practice (you can check my web site for more details) and I love the engine in the new ENART 911M. In my opinion it FAR surpasses the COMODIC SCENARs and even the top end RITMs, but ergonomically (sorry Dr Karasev, but I have talked to your company about this) the ENART line sucks. Put a handle on it that does not slip out of my hand and I’ll change my view! For the techies out there reading this the “engine” or chip in the 911M has a very high bandwidth and emulates several SCENAR models by adjusting the first phase voltage, or how the signal drums into various tissues. The ENART ergonomics are not up to par with the RITM or the (dare I say it!) DENAS lines which I love especially the banana shaped DENAS and with my understanding of what is going on with the electro-stim qualities of the SCENAR I can now quickly train people to get even better results more simply than the RTIM 1NTs. Its all in the application.
I also have taken Ryvenko’s Master training and support him in is efforts with referrals with my SCENAR students and his upcoming training in New York November see http://www.tomatex.com/training.aspx
Now nearly 8 years of using the SCENAR professionally in north and central America I train mostly home users with some professional MDs and NDs LMTs etc. Based on the effect of the electron on the cell membrane plus of course the release of neuropeptides the training I have created is an online/teleconference system of application that creates dynamic results more simply (without the sometimes complicated math of the Ryvenko, or classical Russian model).
However, all the SCENARs in my experience work REALLY well and FAR better than any other technology out there and personally I feel we need to stay open minded to new players entering this field because who knows what they will discover and bring to the table.
Bottom line is that people with agonizing conditions are quickly being relieved of their pain and suffering and it people like us who are grabbing the bull by the horn and collectively bringing the SCENAR to market without knocking other players in the field. Just like the computer over the last 30 years the SCENAR is about changing the world and the way that we perceive healing, and the next generations of children that come along using this technology will not know about pain or disease as we know it today. Thank God!

Aloha Benedict! Thanks for your comment. And I appreciate you bringing up the DENAS. It was the machine that I first experienced, and based upon its dramatic effect, I bought one. We sell them as home models and our clients have been well pleased with their performance. When I have an issue, I first reach for the DENAS. I have never understood the way it is viewed in the SCENAR world and have chalked it up to politics. Do you know the story about that?
Thanks again for sharing your perspective. I am always fascinated by what other practitioners’ experiences are. It is our passion for this technology and hard work to bring it to the world’s attention that will allow people to experience the miraculous healing capabilities of their own bodies.
We hope someday to come out to Hawaii to see what you are up to in person!
