SCENAR Treatment with Terminal Illness

(Note: Jim Freedman bought a Scenar from us in 2006. He has worked with it on his wife and himself over the years, and when in Asheville, would call us up to connect. While here last November, he mentioned his friend Martin, and that he wanted to try treating him with Scenar. I told him of my only experience in seeing Scenar’s effects with another terminally ill individual, which I’m now writing up as a future post, where I witnessed a dramatic improvement in the quality of life during the last months. I told him, it could do no harm, and could possibly improve the quality of his friend’s remaining time. Below are the emails and his thoughts about his experiences in working with Martin.)

I have a good friend Martin who was diagnosed this past summer with multiple myeloma. This is a cancer of the plasma cells located in the bone marrow. There is no cure for this. He was on vacation and experienced excruciating back pain. He was hospitalized and diagnosed. He has numerous tumors growing throughout his body. The myeloma weakened his bones so much he had to have a rod surgically implanted in his leg.

Once back home in Florida he has undergone extensive radiation as well as drug therapies and an operation to infuse spinal cement to help stabilize his lower spine.

I told him I wanted to try and treat him with the scenar. I wondered how much good it might do for someone with this severe a problem.

Martin had become wracked with extreme pain and spent most of his time in bed.

Here are the emails that I sent Penny as I was treating Martin:

Jan 12, 2012  Thursday   1st Scenar Treatment

The worst problem is the huge amount of pain that he is in. He is on morphine and other pain meds. Today was the first chance that I have had to treat him. I called him and he was reluctant because he was having such a bad pain day. When I assured him there would be no side affects he agreed.

He can only walk with the aid of a walker and of late he has to rely on his arms for support as his legs buckle if he puts weight on them. Most of his pain in his is back and buttocks.

When I saw Martin I was somewhat aghast at seeing him in such bad shape. It took him almost 3-4 minutes to roll over from laying on his back to his side. I treated him with the Scenar for about 30-40 minutes and I really did not expect to see immediate results.

Martin rolled back over with a lot less effort and got out of bed into his walker and was able to walk around (with the walker) but put his weight on his legs and not his arms. He had much less pain after the treatment.

Jan 14 Saturday  2nd Scenar Treatment

I treated my friend Martin on Thursday and he has had less pain and somewhat better movement since. This afternoon I gave him his second treatment. Read more »

Latest Quantum Health Magazine

Here is the latest edition of a magazine that has, for me, a fascinating slant.

The Quantum Health magazine is one of the most relevant, to my particular questions, that I have found. Healing has been a fascination with me always coming from my background of having polio as a two year old. In looking at the idea/reality that health/healing reveals, I’ve researched and written about it on many different levels. It has been a journey, which has brought me up on Quantum Theory and its implications. Check out Quantumly Curious for more, if you are interested.

Cosmodic Session

In case you might not have seen the Cosmodic at work, here is a picture taken by professional photographer, Max Poppers.

Latest Quantum Health Magazine

Interesting that the latest Quantum Health would have an article about biophysics. I always enjoy this magazine. Check it out.

It Has Been A While

Over the last few months, I have become more and more fascinated by the question of what is happening between the SCENAR and the body on the quantum level. I have read several books about Quantum Mechanics and the Zero Point Field, but have felt like I still yet lacked a clear enough picture to write about it. Today, when looking at the comments that have come in, I found that most of them were about the Quantumly Curious page. This seemed an odd synchronicity, being that I have been deeply submerged in this world in my own research. Although, perhaps not so odd, knowing what I have learned from my reading.

I have become convinced that there is a level of activity that happens between the SCENAR and the body that is beyond the chemical and nervous systems responding to the signals they receive from the device. I am also more convinced than ever that what the SCENAR does can be done with our own native energetics when brought to bear on the energetics of another. In my own practice with the SCENAR, I have realized how my own energetic entanglement with my client can facilitate and enhance healing. It has added a depth and richness to my path as a healer.

I am currently working on another post to the Quantumly Curious page that will outline some of what I have learned. Will post it soon, so stay tuned…

Cosmodic Musings

Over the last several months we have worked with the Modific device developed by Alexander Karasev, the inventor of the SCENAR. This device has both the Cosmodic and Scenar modalities in it, and is nearly completely automatic. For instance, it decides whether to use the Cosmodic or Scenar modalities on a particular spot. It is claimed that the focus of this new technology is regeneration of the tissues. In using it over the last few months, we have noticed some things about it.

  1. It is quick to use, sessions usually are only 30 minutes in length.
  2. It is easy to use. Basic ability can be learned in one training.
  3. It appears to noticeably improve general health with ongoing sessions, and in some situations relieved symptoms of issues that were not the complaint we were working with. Enlarged prostate symptoms seem to be dramatically relieved.
  4. It appears to soothe the nervous system and improves mood during a session.
  5. It is not as sedating as Scenar and leaves a “spacious” feeling on spine after session (as reported by clients).
  6. The sensation level is automatic (although it can be overridden and operated manually). It can vary wildly while holding it on spot, but the signal is so gentle, that even at increasing sensation levels, it doesn’t bite or become too intense. The signal doesn’t appear to have the “edge” that the Scenar signal can.
  7. For us, working with Scenar for the last nearly 7 years, the Modific provides another perspective with which to evaluate what is happening in the body.
  8. It is not as quick acting on chronic conditions as Scenar can be.
  9. You cannot “stroke” the skin with it. It is a spot by spot kind of device. One of the strengths of the Scenar is in being able to search the skin for possibly related asymmetries. Thus, finding asymmetries doesn’t seem to be as easy and exact as with the Scenar. Additionally, being stroked with the Scenar is soothing and relaxing to the client.
  10. Support for the Cosmodic is very limited. It doesn’t have the organization behind it that Revenko has with RITM. That lack is very much like our experience in 2005 with the Scenar. From what I was told in a Modific introductory session last spring, Karasev is the “mad scientist” in his lab pursuing the goal of regeneration through vibration, and not really interested in such things as business and marketing, FDA approval, etc. I have no idea about the truth of that, but judging from the lack of structural business support and affordable/available training, it would seem that is the case.
  11. It is a delicate device, never to be dropped, and ergonomically it is extremely difficult to hold. The Scenar, which is not ergonomically the best either, is more of a workhorse: reliable, less expensive batteries, and easy to care for (I have to admit dropping my Scenar several times in the time I’ve been working with it, but it has never failed to work).
  12. There is a limited network of practitioners here in this country. Scenar has a large network of practitioners, with training and support available. Revenko provides training here twice a year.

We have used the Modific and SCENAR together, which seems to provide the best outcome. They appear to compliment each other and enhance the overall healing effect. Time will tell where the development of the technology of both devices goes.

Good, Good, Good, Good Vibrations

Spiritual sojourners and religious mystics have told us from antiquity that we are so much more than what we think we are: that we are connected to each other and everything that makes up the entire universe (God, if that is your concept) in a deep and profound way. Not understanding what constitutes that “connection” has hampered our ability to grasp its nature.

With the emergence of Quantum Theory we have been offered another view of the universe that boggles the mind in its applications.  Einstein is actually the one who paved the way for a scientific understanding of what shamans,  yogis, and medicine have been doing for 5000 years.  He provided the idea that energy and matter are dual expressions of the same universal substance. That universal substance is energy. Energy is vibration. The modern science of super string theory teaches that fundamentally the universe is pure vibration. At the particle level, Quantum physics shows that all matter is really energy.

Everything living vibrates at certain frequencies. We humans, like the universe in which we live, are beings of energy. We are actually a series of interacting, mutidimensional energy systems that are manifested on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels of expression. Each aspect (from the cells to the systems) of our bodies is a part of this bioenergetic communications network and continuously generates a stream of vibratory information. The body is aware in that communication of the needs of the smallest part, and in its magnificent self-regulatory ability coordinates the response to bring balance back to the whole being. We call this health.

We are so much more than mere flesh and bones, cells and proteins. We are electrical and magnetic beings existing in dynamic interaction and equilibrium with a universe of energy that is similarly electrical and magnetic.

We know that the human body, when awake, vibrates at a frequency of 62-72 Hz.  Disease sets in when the frequency drops. The level of our vibration is nourished in many ways including what we think, feel, believe, see, hear, smell, touch, eat, drink, breathe and are exposed to. It is amazing to realize that our human body is able to balance these internal and external vibrations and find its own equilibrium or health.

Vibrational medicine is based on the intersecting aspects of the sciences of biology, physiology, chemistry, and physics and looks at the subtleties of human structure and patterns of energy in interaction. Now there is a global interest and research into the clinical application of the principles of bioenergetics. Systems like homeopathy, Ayurvedic medicine, and acupuncture are being investigated with new interest. New treatment modalities such as SCENAR have been developed. The discoveries resulting from this research have made it possible for today’s health care practitioners to work with subtler forms of energy and apply interventions that stimulate the body’s restorative systems without the side-effects associated with the use of pharmacological substances.

The SCENAR, developed in the Russian space program, engages in a vibrational conversation with the body through the skin. Reading the skin for electromagnetic imbalances or “asymmetries”, it can identify where they are and communicate with the body in a back and forth energetic conversation through electrical signals about the imbalance. The body responds through its capacity to regulate itself. This involves many systems, one of which is the neurological system which releases neuropeptides (among them being endorphins) that facilitates the restoration of functional balance; and the symptoms, including pain, are ameliorated. The device works effectively as an anti-aging treatment by stimulating circuits throughout the nervous system. When used on the face it is restorative and rejuvenative. There is a whole aspect of SCENAR application in Cosmetology.

We are entering a new and exciting era related to how we understand our bodies, ourselves, and the nature of healing. As we come to understand ourselves as vibrational beings, perhaps we will realize that everyone is a potential energetic healer to everyone else, and that we are all healers to ourselves. To this end, the SCENAR is a powerful bridge to give us an experience of a way of healing we may not have considered.

Key Aspects of the SCENAR Facilitated Healing Process

  • Each SCENAR session is unique because the body guides the session according to its own wisdom, its current conditions, and priorities.
  • The focus is on health and not on disease.
  • There will be no diagnosis (naming), but rather identification of areas of imbalance.
  • Recovery is quicker and easier in a clean, active, nourished body.
  • Healing often starts in the mind with recognition and positive intentions.
  • Recovery is slower and may be less effective if there is no real desire to heal and change for the better.
  • An improved mood is a sign that recovery is proceeding positively and that the body will follow.
  • Natural body healing typically proceeds from recent conditions to older conditions, more vital organs to less vital organs, from inside to outside, and from top to bottom.
  • Incomplete adaptive reactions develop in layers with each layer itself being organized differently. Typically, natural healing starts with the upper most layer which is expressing itself by a key symptom.
  • Any shift or change is an important positive sign.
  • Sometimes a sign of successful treatment occurs with a short aggravation of the key symptoms. A short aggravation is good and often means that the proper function has been stimulated and healing has begun.
  • After one layer of healing has occurred, symptoms of an older, deeper layers of  incomplete adaptive reactions may express (the body’s unfinished business). These old symptoms are also good and indicate that the body is ready to heal an even deeper problem.
  • Pharmaceutical medications (especially narcotic pain killers) may make it difficult to follow symptoms and complete adaptive reactions. However, as the body begins to heal, medication amounts required may lessen (for example with blood pressure medication, etc.), and so should be monitored closely.
  • SCENAR is complementary to all natural healing treatments and modalities.
  • Treatment is always more effective during a period of symptom expression.
  • Rare intense reactions are a profound sign of healing.
  • Absence of symptoms may not be a sign of health but instead a body blocked by incomplete actions. The SCENAR can identify these situations.
  • The goal is to achieve the most while doing the least.
  • The more recent the problem, the faster the recovery.
  • Acute conditions need frequent, close together sessions.
  • Chronic conditions need 1-3 sessions per week.
  • Function may be restored before all symptoms leave.
  • In chronic situations, maximum benefit may not manifest for 1-3 months after a course of treatment has been completed.

The Body’s Natural Process of Healing Itself

All forms of holistic health care follow the innate principles of the built-in way the body heals itself. The goal of all who are involved in natural healing is to assist the body in this natural process.

Our bodies are always engaged in an ongoing effort to create and maintain homeostasis. This effort is centered in the processes of the Parasympathetic nervous system. The operating principle is “self-regulation” whereby the body organizes its functions to restore balance from imbalance. Just as a tightrope walker is always moving and correcting in order to maintain their balance on the wire, so the body is always in a dynamic process of restoring its own balance which we call health.

If the body encounters a challenge that it is unable to completely resolve, it will temporarily “adapt” by reorganizing itself in a new way that will allow it to continue functioning even though there is still an unresolved issue. This kind of reorganization is called an adaptive reaction or response.  It is an interrupted cycle of self-regulation that is acceptable to the body in the short term because it maintains function until the problem gets resolved.

However, issues may remain unresolved because the body has  “lost sight of them” through a reversal of cellular polarity, or because of prioritization of energy and resource utilization the body may be unable to address them. Over time, the adaptive reaction can interfere with healthy self-regulation and evolve into other new challenges to health and well-being. Those in the natural health field search out these unresolved adaptations and assist the body in completing the goal of moving the adaptation to reintegration and healing. Read more »
