SCENAR for Athletes

skiingathlete

Used by the Russian athletes in the 2000 Olympics, SCENAR can effectively improve training and performance. During marathon competitions in the late 1990’s, SCENAR was used to not only treat injuries so that athletes could return to competition, but was also found to enhance rapid recovery from the exhaustion of long periods of high physical stress. When added as a regular training aid, SCENAR can increase physical recovery and regulation as well as protecting against muscle strains, overuse, and other injuries. This makes it possible for athletes to sustain a more intensive training, thereby increasing their performance parameters.

Athletes using SCENAR during training experienced shorter recovery times required after training, thereby making their training routines more efficient. The effect of the treatments revitalizes and restores the body’s healing capacity which improves its ability to accommodate training stress. Using SCENAR right after training sessions promotes faster recovery and improves endurance.

Perhaps the most well known effect among athletes is the SCENAR’s ability to accelerate the healing of acute injuries. If SCENAR treatment is begun within moments of an injury, it can significantly minimize the swelling, bruising, and pain that would normally occur, allowing a return to training or competition in a minimal amount of time. Because of the instrument’s compact size, it can be carried along with the athlete to competitions or during training routines. The SCENAR has also been documented to be useful in resolving chronic or repeated injuries by reducing pain and improving strength in an injured joint or muscle. It is used extensively in rehabilitation practices with athletes in Russia, Europe, and Australia.

SCENAR Training with Dr. Revenko and Dr. Subbotina

revenko subbotina

The next SCENAR training with Dr. Revenko and Dr. Subbotina in Fort Worth will be held March 18-27. For those of you who are interested in training from the premier international trainers on the RITM SCENAR, this is the most important experience in developing your skills that you will find. Our experience of this training last April far exceeded our expectations, and the application of all that we learned has improved the outcomes for our clients dramatically. The training also opened our eyes to the relationship of SCENAR and quantum energy medicine theory. It is worth whatever must be done to take advantage of this opportunity.

The first SCENAR training program was developed by Dr. Revenko in 1992. Since then this program has been continuously enhanced by new methods as the new products were designed. But the basic principals of the treatment remain the same because they are based on the nature of human beings and on the philosophy of human energy fields. Dr. Revenko’s program includes all SCENAR techniques known up to this point. Moreover, it gives not only the methodology of using the device, but the philosophy of energy healing technology. Of this, Dr. Revenko says: “I am presently developing a deeper clarity on how to present that SCENAR therapy is not electrotherapy with biofeedback, but the interaction of energy-information between two systems and intellects – the operator and the patient – requiring the active participation of the patient as well as the practitioner. Therefore, all disciplines that similarly work with energy-information influences and interact with the organism of the person – such as acupuncture, cranial osteopathy, homeopathy, ayurveda, etc. (where the practitioner treats the patient with SCENAR and another complementary skill) this combination will help and intensify the effects and work toward correcting the complaints and problems of the patient.”

In the SCENAR world, getting good training is difficult. It is important to research possible trainers as to whether or not they themselves have trained with and are sanctioned in their training of others by Dr. Revenko and his International SCENAR Academy. One can easily learn dubious information that may have to be unlearned when training with Dr. Revenko himself. Although the basic operation of the SCENAR is stable information, the nuances of providing effective treatment is a subtle combination of your own experience and the insight of the trainers you use. There is much more to being effective than the basic information of operating the instrument. In fact, learning to use the SCENAR effectively is an ever evolving process, and it is important to have the latest information from the developer himself.

If you have a year or two of experience, it will be worth your while to take Dr. Subbotina’s basic class in order to make sure that any previous training you have had is accurate. Dr. Subbotina is an excellent trainer, who speaks English, which is advantageous. She has an openness and personal warmth that is delightful. When we took her Cosmetology class, we learned a wealth of information related to the history of natural medicine from the East and the West, as well as how to use the SCENAR within the body’s natural cycles and important detoxing protocols such that the lifting protocols used will be most effective. Cosmetology using the SCENAR is far more than just working with the lifting protocols.

By taking this training, you can anticipate a learning experience you will never forget, and one that will enhance your skills with the SCENAR immensely. We wholeheartedly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. For more information, visit the Tomatex website.

Eye Health

The importance of visual health was brought home to me personally last October when I was diagnosed with early, rapid onset cataracts. My mother, brother, and sister all had cataract surgery at an early age, so there was some genetic predisposition. I had the surgery on one eye, and will see what happens with the other. Conventional medicine does have its place and cataract surgery is a shining example of its importance. My sight has been restored completely.

In an effort to avoid further surgery, I began to research preventative approaches to maintaining eye health. Recent research has shown that nutrition has a significant impact on keeping the eye itself healthy. Antioxidants in general and Omega 3 oils are important as well as these four key nutrients that can help you maintain healthy eyesight:

  • Vitamin A - Even a moderate deficiency in vitamin A intake can cause night blindness, which manifests as a difficulty perceiving details in low light conditions. Fortunately, it is easy to include in your diet. Liver, carrots, broccoli, sweet potatoes, spinach and even butter have high concentrations of Vitamin A.
  • Vitamin C - Some studies suggest that vitamin C may play a role in screening out damaging UV rays and delaying the development of macular degeneration and glaucoma. The classic source of vitamin C is citrus fruits, but the most concentrated sources are in red pepper, kiwi, acerola and Cacadu plums which have fifty times the amount of an orange.
  • Vitamin E - Keeping the eye lubricated prevents surface damage that is associated with dry eyes. Having a sufficient amount of vitamin E in the diet is a natural way to keep the eyes lubricated without resorting to eye drops. Whole grains, hazelnuts, almonds, asparagus, avocado, sunflower seeds, and eggs are all good sources of vitamin E.
  • Lutein - Directly linked to the amount of pigmentation in the eye, this non-vitamin nutrient increases the levels of pigmentation which has been show to decrease the chance of age-related macular degeneration, a leading cause of blindness. For people looking to increase their levels of Lutein intake, vegetables are the primary foods to consider. Kale, turnip greens, romaine lettuce, corn, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts all have high levels of Lutein. Kiwifruit is another good source.

I have also begun to use a SCENAR protocol for eye health, which can be found on the SCENAR Owners page for those who have purchased SCENARs from Healing Innovations. Hopefully, by using the SCENAR and paying more attention to my diet, I will be able to avoid further surgery.

New Year Intentions

calvin_resolutions

As we move into the “Age of Intuition” our language reflects the shift. Instead of “resolutions” which can be seen as coming from the ego’s determination, we now “set intentions” reflecting a more energetic tone of vibrational awareness that sets the direction of thought through attention. The vibrations of one’s thoughts generates the energy behind intention.

It is said that the first seven days of the year create the energy for the new year. Thus, this has historically been a time of reassessment and rejuvenating enthusiasm. However, those who have set “resolutions” in the past may be disappointed that they were not able to achieve them, and thus, the activity of making resolutions can come to be avoided because of fear of failure. “Resolutions” seem to put the responsibility for achieving them squarely on the shoulders of the resolver.

Intention has a different tone. It has more of the vibration of a request with open hearted anticipation of fulfillment. The responsibility of the “intender” relates to:

  • seeing the fruition of the intention as already accomplished
  • coming into vibrational alignment with the intentions
  • looking at emerging situations as opportunities that may lead to the fulfillment of the intention
  • having faith that intending is a co-creative process with something greater than self
  • tolerating ambiguity, being willing to take risks and actions as seem required, listening with the heart, and being flexible
  • letting go of attachments to outcomes as we judge they “should” be

So, rather than “resolving to make something happen,” the experience of intending has more to do with actively committing to doing our own inner work and becoming more vibrationally sensitive so that when the opportunities arise (such as meeting someone who may be a potential work out buddy we need to keep us motivated) we can see them and take advantage of the potential inherent in them.

My intention for this blog is to continue to enjoy the research and writing that emerges from my commitment to sharing the latest information about energetic medicine, SCENAR, and maintaining wellness. I look forward with great anticipation to seeing where that leads in the coming year.
