Swine Flu Prevention/Treatment with Essential Oils

In continuing to research alternative ways to prevent/treat swine flu we found numerous sites with information regarding the efficacy of herbs and essential oils. If you are interested in this alternative we would recommend you attend the Southeast Wise Women: Southeast Wise Women’s Herbal Conference to be held October 2-4 in Black Mountain. We will be there to provide demonstrations of the SCENAR, so if you would like a direct experience of SCENAR visit our booth. To learn more go to www.sewisewomen.com

Make sure you read our Healing Tips page which gives you ways to keep your neuropeptide levels high and stress low so that your body’s immune system can be at its most effective.

If you have symptoms of flu, it is essential you see your doctor for a diagnosis.

The most common essential oils recommended for antiseptic and antiviral effects are Eucalyptus (also good for decongesting), Rosemary, Clove (you can also hold clove buds in the mouth frequently during the day), Oregano (also found to be effective against the superbug MRSA), Garlic (chewing cloves), tea tree, peppermint, Thyme and Elderberry (which interrupts the virus’s ability to penetrate cell walls). You can also put antiseptic oils on a handkerchief or mask when in crowed areas. A caution: some of the antiseptic/antiviral oils can be too intense to put on sensitive skin. Be sure to research which ones can be applied directly to the skin.

Basil or Tulsi oil can relieve congestion in the lymphatic system which supports the ability of the body to eliminate the virus. Having regular lymphatic massage can also increase your body’s ability to fight off illness in general. The lymphatic massage therapist we use is Marilyn Mathews of Weaverville, NC. She has years of experience and is an excellent pratitioner.

Taking a mixture of 1/2 Tbs of honey and 1/2 Tbs of cinnamon 5-6 times a day is another home remedy that is useful. Putting 2-3 drops of Juniper Berry oil in a hot bath or diffuser boosts immunity.

You can also combine oils. For example, putting 2-4 drops of Eucalyptus/Basil/Rosemary/Juniper oils in boiling water or a steamer and taking hot facial or nasal steams 2-3 times a day for 5-10 minutes can decongest nasal and ear zones.

The most recent statistics on the incidence of swine flu can be found at www.cdc.gov/swineflu/

Natural Treatment and Prevention of Swine Flu

There is a protocol for the SCENAR to prevent Swine Flu which will be included for those of you who own SCENARs at the end of this post.

In researching natural ways of treating Swine Flu, we encountered  an article about using homeopathics. Homeopathic remedies were used for treating the 1918 flu (of which today’s swine flu is thought to be derived). The article states that among people who used homeopathic remedies the mortality rate was 1%.  For those who used traditional allopathic remedies the mortality rate was 28%.

There are many who are concerned about the swine flu vaccine’s safety and efficacy. The threat of mandatory vaccination has the conspiracy theorists in a tizzy.

If you decide to treat with homeopathics, it is always best to consult a homeopathic practitioner first. However, the article suggests the following:

Gelsemium- for those who have the flu and are experienceing intense muscle aches and soreness

Aconite- for high fever

Arsenicum album- helps with early respiratory symptoms

Baptista- helps with diarrhea

Eupatorium perf- for severe coughing

Special SCENAR Application for COLD and FLU prevention, including SWINE FLU prophylaxis

Just received this protocol to enhance immune functioning from Tomatex where we had our training with Revenko, so thought I would pass it along.

Since there are three types of machines being used out there, I will write the instructions for the DENAS and the 035M which are the same and put the instructions for the RITM in parenthesis. Comment if you have questions.

The protocol is to be done morning and evening every other day or so and every day if you think you have been exposed:

Morning

1. Hold the SCENAR over the Suprasternal Notch (location of the Thymus gland) in constant mode (Diag O or Swing 1), at a comfortable sensation level for 5 minutes.

2. Hold SCENAR over the Xiphoid process in constant mode (Diag O or Fm+) at a slightly higher than comfortable sensation level for 3 minutes.

3. Stroke the liver area in constant mode (Diag O or Fm+) at a comfortable sensation level for 5 minutes. Don’t treat asymmetries that may come up.

4. Hold SCENAR on C7 (the bump at the base of the neck on the spine) in constant mode (Diag O or Swing1) at a comfortable sensation for 2 minutes.

5. Repeat step 1

Evening

6. Hold SCENAR on Suprasternal Notch (location of Thymus Gland) in constant mode (Diag O or Swing1) at a comfortable sensation level for 3 minutes.

7. Stroke liver area in constant mode (Diag O or Fm+) at a comfortable senstaion level for 5 minutes. Don’t treat any asymmetries that may come up.

8. Hold SCENAR on C7 in constant mode (DiagO or Swing1) at a comfortable sensation level for 2 minutes.

9. LI4 Acupuncture Point-HeGu in the middle of the 2nd metacarpal bone on the radial side between the hand and the thumb (also known as the “headache point”). Hold SCENAR on this point in constant mode (Diag O or Fm+) at a comfortable sensation level for 12 minutes.

If you are using the RITM, you can get more bang for your buck by using Fm+ and Swing1 in alternating ways to keep the body more alert to the influence thereby creating more of a response.

Stay well, all of you!

I LOVE my SCENAR!

Mostly at Healing Innovations we work with chronic pain, where our clients have tried all kinds of therapies to deal with a problem pain with no luck and they decide to try us out. It is gratifying to see their pain relieved and their smile return after a few treatments. Personally, the SCENAR has helped me deal with the chronic pain of Post Polio Syndrome, allowing me to live my life without so many of the disabling effects of the disorder.

But, it is with acute pain that the device can be really amazing. Because the body is “already on it” with an injury, the SCENAR can assist its efforts to the point of resolving the issue within hours with no swelling or bruising. When we began having direct personal experience with this, we realized the stunning power of the body to heal itself. Owning a SCENAR provides one with a powerful tool to deal with everyday kinds of injuries from stubbed toes to back strains.

Even the everyday kinds of things like bee stings can be completely resolved within hours, with the pain usually gone after 20 minutes of treatment. A friend of mine used it on a scorpion sting and completely eliminated the pain in a few minutes with no sign of the sting the next day. When she was recently at a North Carolina beach, she, her sister, and her two nephews were stung by jellyfish. After treating the stings for 20 minutes the pain was gone with no residual effects.

Today, I went out to the garden to take on the Morning Glory which was overrunning everything. As I began to pull it off of the plants, thousands of mosquitoes emerged and began having me for dinner! I bravely fought on for a while before my arms and face were ablaze with the worst itchiness I’ve ever experienced. Defeated, I ran inside and got out the SCENAR. I started with the five bites on my face, treating each for two minutes. Then I moved to my arms and treated the 15 bites for two minutes each. When I was done, the itching was gone, the swelling was gone, and I was feeling much better!

I just have to marvel! If I was independently wealthy I would give these devices out on the street corners! Everyone should have one.  The dream of the inventors was that everyone would have one in the home first aid kit. I could not agree more. I often wonder how much money in various medications it has saved me over the last 5 years. It is my body’s friend, always ready to assist it to do its own miraculous healing work. I love my SCENAR!

The Living Matrix Movie Final Post

This is the last post from the paper of questions and answers found on the Living Martix movie facebook webpage. Hope you have found the information to be interesting and worth the read. If you can see the movie, do so.

These are stories of chronic illness. Why does bioenergetic medicine seem to be most effective on chronic illness as opposed to other types of diseases and injuries?

Bioenergetic medicine addresses any condition in which disturbed information can be corrected with healing information. It is often perceived as targeting chronic illness because patients come to it only after seeking traditional medicine over long periods of time, when their illness has long surpassed the chronic criteria.

Chronic illness is the result of disturbed information or energy blocks in the body, whether through illness or exposure to different stresses in our lives and our enviornoment. These stressors commonly cause and imbalance in some part of our system, and if it isn’t corrected, signs/symptoms occur. Eventually a serious disease or chronic illness manifests. Bioenergetics works to rebalance the body’s natural flow of energy, alleviate illness, and restore well being.

This is a great discription of what the SCENAR does. However, it is the most effective on acute injuries. In that situation, the body is already alert to the issue and the SCENAR gives it extra support in its healing efforts. We have personally seen immediate SCENAR treatment after a severe injury prevent swelling and bruising,  and the next day, it was as if the trauma never happened. With chronic conditions, where energy has become blocked, it takes longer to support the body in its healing.

About How The Living Matrix Movie was Made

The following two questions and answers deal with the creators of the movie as well as the participants and their stories of healing related to bioenergetic interventions.

The final question and answer of the paper found on the Living Matrix facebook webpage will be published tomorrow. Hope you have enjoyed reading this information. Hope also that you will find a way to see the movie and draw your own conclusions about it.

How did you choose the participants in the film?

Through their individual long term struggles with chronic fatigue syndrome, film makers Greg Becker and Harry Massey eventually came to discover the work of the pioneers who were advancing the idea of the human body field and energy medicine. Both men were enthused about a movement that they sensed was gaining momentum: Bioenergetics. Harry made scores of connections in the field. At the same time, Greg was doing his own research in bioenergetics.

In making the Living Matrix documentary, it was important to put the scientists and researchers out in front of the new science. Massey and Becker wanted viewpoints from all levels of science and research: MDs, PhDs, acupuncturists, osteopaths, heart specialists, biologists, biophysicists, authors, educators, and researchers. They reached across the spectrum, picked up the phone and started promoting their idea for the first documentary to present the evidence-based research for a new understanding of human biology as the basis for shifting the traditional health care system.

How did you find Demitrios, Ariel, and Vanessa and the other stories of recovery in the documentary?

Many people join the alternative health care profession because they struggle with their own illness or injury and make remarkable discoveries after conventional medicine fails. When the film makers interviewed Dr. Marilyn Mandala Schlitz as on of the scientists for the film, they learned of her experience as a youth when she reversed the prognosis of leg amputation by positive thinking. Dr. Edgar Mitchell, former astronaut who founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences, told them during their interview with him that he worked with a healer 3000 miles away to eradicate a kidney abnormality visible on an MRI. These people came at it with a strong belief. But the film makers also wanted to meet people outside the profession who might not have had strong beliefs but who made life changing discoveries.

They were well into making the film when they interviewed Eric Pearl. They knew they wanted a powerful story to open the film, to bring viewers right in emotionally as well as intellectually and professionally. Because typically, when all hope seems lost, the journey to health is an emotional one. Eric told them the story of Demetrius, the boy with cerebral palsy who stood up and walked without braces after one healing. Who came to the next healing with an unclenched fist and delighting in the simple act of holding a glass by himself. When the film makers heard that story, they said, “we have to go to Greece.”

At the Nutri-Energetics conference in San Francisco, Greg and Susan Becker heard Deborah Holt speak on a panel, where she described some of her case studies. They spoke with her later and explained that they were looking for another personal story to include in the film. Deborah told them about Vanessa Stone and her recovery from chronic fatigue. Through Deborah, they were able to talk with Vanessa and arrange to interview her.

Arielle is a well know NLP coach and speaker. In her presentations about practical miracles, she refers to her own dramatic experience with a brain tumor, and how it launched her on a journey of transformation. The film makers and their contacts in Holland knew of Arielle and contacted her to see if she would be interested in being interviewed for the film.

The Living Matrix Part 8

“Placebos are the ghosts that haunt our house of biomedical objectivity, the creatures that rise up from the dark and expose the paradoxes and fissures in our own self-created definitions of the real and active factors in treatment.”–Anne Harrington

“Whatever the mind can concieve and believe, it can achieve.”–Napoleon Hill

How does the film address the Placebo Effect?

The Living Matrix covers many area of bioenergetic medicine, including the body’s self-healing capacity to override biology–or the Placebo Effect. In traditional medicine, the Placebo Effect is discounted as coincidence or dismissed as unscientific. However, the film reveals that in modern medicine, one-third of all healings, including drugs, surgery, and other allopathic interventions, can be attributed to the Placebo Effect. It further questions why such a significant percentage is ignored when it quite possibly could help reduce one-third of health care costs. Bioenergetic medicine considers the Placebo Effect a significant clue to the effect that is created through energy fields. It asserts that belief (in being cured) is the bridge that connects information outside the body with the body’s ability to heal itself. That is, when you believe something, your intention brings the information you need to where it is needed so that healing can happen. The Living Matrix calls on the medical field to pay more attention to the Placebo Effect, to study its role in healing, and to further its place in the health care system.

We have experienced interesting things relative to the power of intention with the SCENAR. We have found that if we can encourage clients to visualize breathing slowly in and out of the spot where we are working, it will actually speed up the body’s adaptive reaction, which we can watch on the readings of the device.

The Living Matrix Part 7

In working with SCENAR, especially with chronic conditions, it is said that the information about the issue or area of pain is not getting through to trigger the body’s healing adaptive response. Without information about the area of distress, the body doesn’t realize that healing is needed. Thus things deteriorate until enough distress is generated in surrounding tissues that there is a response. SCENAR gives the body information with frequencies and energy signals native to the body about the disturbed area that prompts the body to respond to stop the pain and heal the issue. We were trained that it is the breakdown in the communication of information to the body’s adaptive response systems about an area of distress that creates disease.

Information is such a broad term that can describe everything from conversation to the weather report. What is information health care and what kind of information does it involve?

Whether they come from biological processes, sound, light, emotions, or thoughts, information is imprinted on the energy waves which carry that information throughout the body. By understanding quantum biology, energy patterns, and the human body field, it is now possible to understand that different parts of the body communicate amongst themselves and how the human body communicates with energy fields in the environment. With these new theories, we have the opportunity to approach wellness as the optimal flow of biological, environmental, and energy information among all of these energy fields.

In our roadmap to the future of health care, energy and information are just as important to biology as physiology and chemistry. Disease, illness, and injury signal disturbances in the energy transfer and therefore the information carried on energy waves. Information medicine addresses these disruptions with therapies that correct disturbed information. Information medicine can also instruct the body to achieve wellness by putting new information into the body’s energy field.

The Living Matrix Part 6

It is the shift in understanding of the role that energy plays in the body’s healing process that makes The Living Matrix movie significant. Having worked with this concept with the SCENAR and the Therapeutic Multilayer Blanket for the last five years, we were excited to see this paradigm explored as a documentary (See our post on Reflex Biofeedback). When we first started our practice, our position that we were only facilitating the body’s own capacity to heal itself was received with some puzzlement by our clients. We seldom see puzzlement in our clients now, but only agreement. More and more of them express to us their frustration with conventional medicine and the concept of the body as a machine. They know intrinsically that there is so much more to it than that. Regardless of what “proof” is brought to bear on this subject, it is the paradigm shift to understanding the body not as a machine made up of separate parts, but an integrated energetic whole that interacts with itself and its environment as a whole, that is exciting.

So, we continue with the next question from the paper found on the Living Matrix movie webpage on facebook:

Quantum physics has been around for 80 years and has been emerging as a new understanding of consciousness and reality. How does it apply to health?

Quantum physics is the bridge between the ancient understanding of energy in the universe and the modern understanding of reality. Quantum physics reveals that all of matter contains energy and that energy is the common transfer mechanism for information. Until recently, science has understood quantum physics as the study of small particles exchanging energy. Recent studies in quantum physics reveal something new: the subatomic structures we once thought were particles of energy act as waves of energy during energy exchange. Given this understanding, it is easy to see how energy transfers in constant wave motions not only between and among all the systems within the body but outside the body as well.

Once science accepted the original principles of quantum physics, bioenergetic scientists took it a step further and saw these principles as concerte evidence to explain the role of energy, information and communication in human biology. With this new understanding that human biology integrates the body’s energy fields with its biological “fields” or systems, the medical community now can address illness and health with therapies that correct problems not just with the physical and chemical parts of the body, but also with the energy fields and the relationship between the two. While the medical community is a long way from agreeing with bioenergetic sciences, it has the scientific evidence now to evolve its thinking.

Stranger Than Fiction

Kathy’s daughter is in medical school at UNC and two years ago sent us this link of a video she was given in class. We lost it and she found it again for us this weekend. It is such amazing animation, that I thought it was worth passing along. Created for Harvard biology students, all of the events depicted actually go on in our cells. Check it out http://www.studiodaily.com/main/searchlist/6850.html

The Living Matrix Part 5

Just saw the movie this afternoon. It is extremely well done. Many in our group that saw it said they had known this information in some form or another for a long time and how nice it was to have it all put into a coherent presentation. We recommend you see it. It is very much the biological logical extension of quantum physics.

Here is the fifth question in the paper found on the Living Matrix facebook webpage:

What do you mean by energy and information fields? Is this the same thing as the Human Body Field discussed in the film?

The conventional viewpoint is that subatomic particles make up matter, and that they participate in energetic exchange that for a split second produces virtual particles that also contribute to energy exchange. Multiplied among all the subatomic particles across all things, scientists see that this supercharged energy exchange cannot end in one place and then begin in another. For example, the skin on the human body cannot separate the energy within the body from the energy outside it. This is how we understand Energy Fields.

The human body has powerful measurable energy systems, such as electrommagnetic energy generated by the pumping heart; energetic impulses from our nervous system; and electromagnetic energy in the brain. In fact, all parts of the body have their own energy fields that interact with other parts of the body. Furthermore, if we acknowledge that all matter exchanges energy in a vast invisible structure of interaction, we can begin to see how the human body itself is not a separate structure but rather an interaction with the energy of other matter. This is how we understand The Human Body Field.

To explain Information Fields, we understand that at a more complex level, human life also depends on the body’s intelligence to function properly. For example, cells have to know how to muliply and what to become once they do. The heart has to know how to regulate itself to meet certain exertion demands. And because the body exchanges energy with the envioronment, other human beings, thoughts, intentions, and emotions, information from all of these other sources is communciated to the body as well. How?

The energy systems in the human body – or the body field – are set up so that every cell is instantly connected to and communicating with each other, making it possible for this kind of information to be transferred instantaneously throughout the field. The body field, therefore, is one large field of structured energy with information directing that energy.
